Mirdif Mums was stared in 2002 by Bonnie Scott Laws
“It was 2002 and my first baby was 10 months old when I started a group for other mums in Mirdif. Back then, there was nowhere to meet other mothers: no cafes, no supermarkets except the little shops next to the mosques. So we started to meet at home once a month. It quickly became clear we wanted to do it weekly and this is how the weekly playgroup started.
As the group grew, I eventually built the website for us. The intense construction projects started and suddenly we got 2 new schools and a shopping centre. Today, Mirdif is well serviced with no less than 4 shopping malls, leisure and medical facilities, nurseries, schools and its very own parks. In addition there are several ‘mini malls’ dotted across Mirdif”.

A fantastic morning was had by all at the ladies’ event in October with Elemis featuring a talk on the brand and products. Everyone got a gift bag with products for ladies and men. One lucky winner left with a beautiful raffle prize.
